This privacy policy applies to MyConsent, a service provided by Trifork A/S (CVR: 20921897), located at Runen 3, Lisbjerg, 8200 Aarhus N, Denmark. Trifork A/S is the data controller responsible for processing your personal data in accordance with applicable EU privacy laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. What Personal Data We Collect
When you use MyConsent, we may collect the following personal data:
- Full name
- Email address
- IP address (automatically logged for security and system purposes)
When you respond to a consent request, your response (approval or denial) is recorded and stored.
3. Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data to:
- Create and manage user accounts
- Facilitate consent requests and responses between users and organizations
- Maintain an audit trail of consents for legal and operational purposes
The legal basis is:
- Article 6(1)(b) GDPR — necessary for the performance of a contract (e.g., managing your account)
- Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interests in maintaining secure records of consent activity
4. How Consent Works on Our Platform
MyConsent enables organizations to request consent from individuals, typically regarding the use of personal data or images. These requests are stored on the platform, and the recipient can approve, decline, or revoke consent. Both parties can access consent history and see where the consent applies (e.g. related media files).
5. Data Sharing and Processors
We do not sell your data. Your personal data is only shared with trusted service providers strictly for operational purposes:
- Hosting: Our platform runs on DigitalOcean servers located in Europe.
These providers are bound by data processing agreements (DPAs) in accordance with GDPR.
6. International Transfers
DigitalOcean may, in some cases, involve subprocessors located outside the EU. In such cases, data is transferred under valid safeguards such as the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission.
7. Data Retention
Your data is retained only as long as your account exists. You may delete your account at any time, upon which your personal data will be deleted unless we are required to retain it under legal obligations.

You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data
- Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”)
- Restrict or object to processing
- Data portability
- Withdraw consent at any time (where applicable)

We do not currently use tracking cookies or analytics tools on the platform.
